Deb Schaaf was recently honored as one of twenty MusicEd Idol awardees from the Give a Note Foundation & 21st Century Fox. These organizations work together to recognize the contributions of music educators around the country and they have awarded Deb a $1000 grant for Jane Addams Middle School’s music education program. JAMS’ Senior Band, Senior Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Intermediate Choir all attended the Silverwood Music in the Parks Festival in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho over the weekend of May 20-22.
